Adalah Justice Project works closely with The Red Nation, an organization of Native and non-Native activists, working for Native liberation. In August 2018, Adalah Justice Project and Al-Haq offered a workshop at the Red Nation Annual Liberation Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico drawing parallels between land, belonging and citizenship from Israel to the United States.

The goal of the workshop was to explore the legal construction of citizenship in Israel and the United States, and generate discussion about the myth of citizenship and its promise of equality. Through a review of law, participants considered how nation states are built on exclusion, and how citizenship has political and economic dimensions. The session addressed the impact of arbitrary racial/ethnic prerequisites to citizenship, including limited access to resources, opportunity, and the full realization of human rights.
